It needs to contrast, red or yellow will not work.

One drop of blue dye should be enough.
What do you need with FEES in order to see?
At minimum you need light

Measure tube next to face
How does one manage to place the flexible tube inside the nose?
SLP should insert the tube slowly and stay on floor of the nose
What happens if there is residue in pyriform?
It is concerning.
What do you place on the tube, but not on the camera to prevent irritation and help pass the tube smoothly?
Vaseline
Which consistencies can be tested with FEES?
- thin/thick liquids
- thin pure (apple sauce)
- thick pure (pudding)
- regular (cracker/cookie)
