Greenhouse gas are increase in the atmosphere which causes an increase in global surface temperature as radiation from the sun is trapped by a the ozone layer which grows with greenhouse gas emissions, which leads to the melting of ice which increases the oceanic store of water. It also leads to the evaporation of water into water vapour which is a greenhouse gas, which contributes further to the growth of the ozone layer and therefore increases temperature, which increases the melting of the ice and so the ocean store increases.
