What is it: a supreme court case where (WILLIAM MARBURY) had been appointed a SUPREME COURT position by (ADAMS) but OFFICIAL PAPERS were never to be seen cuz (PREZ JEFFERSON ) told security of state (MADISON) to not deliver the papers IN HOPES TO ELECT A (REPUBLICAN) for the position. (MARBURY) demanded papers be delivered based on the (JUDICIARY ACT)

Who was he:. Commodore (navy) who helped WIN a battle at LAKE ERIE in OHIO during the War of 1812
IMPORTANCE: the win of the battle he helped allowed for AMERICANS to have CONTROL of (Lake Erie) + ALLOWED (GENERAL HARRISON) to NOW march into both DETROIT AND CANADA, which were important accomplishments/ victories in the U.S’ fight against BRITAIN

- 4 Laws created by (Federalist) 3 out of 4 laws aimed at illegal immigrants, 4th law created to prevent ( sedition/ rebellion)
(Importance:)- Harsher treatment to immigrants + deprived citizens right to criticize

IMPORTANCE: he was involved in MANY IMPORTANT parts of history like; (MARBURY V.S MADISON), the purchase of (LOUISIANA TERRITORY) from (FRANCE), which helped make the US LARGER IN LAND, HE (ISSUED the EXPLORATION of the WEST), (struggled to keep the (US) out of WAR “between” (FRANCE + BRITAIN), ALSO he ISSUED (THE EMBARGO ACT OF 1807).

Why is it important
Who is (Tecumseh) He is the Shawnee Native American leader who believed native Americans should unite to work together
IMPORTANCE:important because he created a movement that turned bloody in the Battle of Tippecanoe, the fight destroyed native Americans hope of being united
Who is (General Andrew Jackson)? Why are they important?
Who was he: The ( AMERICAN COMMANDER) during (WAR of 1812 + WON the (BATTLE of the NEW ORLEANS) which mad him a NATIONAL HERO
IMPORTANCE: HE helped (END the WAR of 1812) against the BRITISH, which helped the (FEDERALIST PARTY) in which after the accomplishment, the US became VERY NATIONALIST + PATRIOTIC after this victory against (THE BRITISH)

- Embargo= a gov’t band on trade w/ other countries
IMPORTANCE: due to attack on the “Chesapeake (president Jefferson) got permission from “congress” passing act to halt trade between (America and Europe)
