What is Federalism?
A
It is the division and sharing of power between the national and state governments. It was set up this way because the framers feared a strong central government, but it having no power wouldn’t end out well.

What are some examples of federal, state, and shared powers?
A
Raising armies, Conducting foreign affairs. Ratifying Constitutional amendments, Regulating intrastate commerce. Borrowing money, Establishing courts.
