What did the 1935 act intorduce?
A
State pensions for the elderly (payed by employer, and employee.
Unemployment insurance, to be payed by payroll taxes.
As well as help for children in poverty and disabled people.

Was the 1935 act successful?
A
Yes partly, it reform the government by state pensions, this also displayed fdr cared about his people.
How ever the legislation failed to provide adequate support for children, as well as those working for small scale employers.

What were the down sides to the Social Security Act.

inadequate to meet the needs of the poor and many employee groups, agricultural, domestic servants.
