Supreme Court Review Decision from State Court
A
- Final judgment from a state court.
- Judgment has to be from the highest state court.
- Has to be a substantial federal question being raised.
- Decision by the state court did not rest on adequate and independent state grounds.

Advisory Opinions
A
Federal Courts CANNOT issue advisory opinions.
If there is no legal effect on the parties, it is advisory.
