impeachment and removal

A

Pres, VP, federal judges and officers of US can be impeached and removed from teh officer for treason, bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors

iimpeachment doesn’t remove from office (need senate to convict)

impeachment by House requires majority vote; conviction in the Senate requires a 2/3 vote

pres immunity for civil suits for $ but not for actions that occurred prior to office

pres has privileges for presidential papers and convsation

pres has power to pardeon accused or convicted of Fed crimes.
