- Research should be based on investigations or theories made.

- Something which is based on the gathering of evidence and through direct observations or experience

A
- Ideas that follow clear logic and straightforward ideas

A
- ” To make an exact copy of something”
-If an investigation isn’t replicable then other researchers wouldn’t believe it
-Allows for research to have higher validity - higher reliability
-Guards against fraud

Falsification
A
-The idea or principle that a theory is NOT scientifically correct unless it admits to the possibility to be proven untrue

Paradigm
A
- General perspective/method/system that is accepted by a majority of scientists or professionals in the same field
- Otherwise referred to as “shared assumptions”

A
- A test that confirms the hypothesis/ theory
- Considered the opposite of falsification
