What does the fear of debt explain?
The fear of debt helps to explain wy only about 30% of the university students come from the working class, despite this group making up 50% of the population

a. Working class students are more likely to apply to local universities to avoid accomodation and travel costs
b. They are also more likely to work whilst studying for their degree
