Angle recession
Break of the CB fibers. Can cause glaucoma. Cause mydriasis. Very wide angles
Cyclodialysis
Drop in IOP. CB from sclera
IOP with hyphema
Will increase and then decrease.
Amicar
Use to treat hyphen and stop break down of original clot
Compazine
Used for angle closure. Suppository. Use with hyphema.
IOPs in trauma
Typically low for first week and then increase as CB recovers.
Vossius Ring
Impact of iris to the lens. Leaves a ring. No tx.
Capsular rupture
Bad as body thinks inside lens is foreign.
Blow out fracture
Will have diplopia in superior and inferior. Will see endophthalmos.
Commotion Retina
Retinal edema.
Berlin’s Edema
Macular edema following trauma. No FLR.
Retinal dilaysis
trauma causes separation of retina from ora. RD later on.
