A

Charter Operations, Scheduled freight ops, can be CONUS or International.

PIC and D.O. must concur for “Flight Release.” At Allegiant, the D.O. with delegate responsibility to Dispatch.

Define Supplemental Fuel Requirements:

Define Supplemental ALTERNATE CONUS requirements:

A

Fuel: (origin to dest) + (dest to ALT) + (45 min @ cruise).

ALT: Alternate required always, yes, but with 2 exceptions.

1) Op Spec approves in C070 regular airport. Must have 1-2-3.
2) FAA exemption 10064B must be posted on “Flight Release.” Must have 1-2-3.

A

Define Flag Fuel Requirements:

Define Flag ALTERNATE requirements:

A

Fuel: (Fuel to dest + 10%) + (fuel to ALT) + (fuel for 30 min circling at 1500’).

ALT:
1) flight over 6 hours always requires an ALTERNATE.
2) Flights less than 6 hours require ALT with modified 1-2-3 rule.
Modified 1 - 2 plus - 3 plus Rule:
2 plus = higher of 2000’ or (lowest circling mins + 1500’)
if no circle approach, then use suitable straight in + 1500’
3 plus = higher of 3 mi vis or (approach mins + 2 mi)

A

Monitor progress of each flight, supply new info to crew and work with CA and FO. Dispatcher can terminate a flight. DOO can cancel a flight.

How can a crew qualify for Special Qual Airports?

A

1) PIC or SIC land & takeoff in previous 12 months (sim OK).
2) Use pictoral means aka airport Jepp Qual Chart labeled “Airport Qual.” Allegiant GOM requires both pilots to review before landing.
3) Wx: 3 mi vis, ceiling 1000’ above lowest of IAF, MEA or MOCA.

A

No more than 100 flight hours in 672 hours (rolling 28 days).

No more than 1000 flight hours in 365 days (rolling 365).

Flight Time may only be exceeded for “unforeseen operational circumstance” while already airborne, not for a delay while taxiing out (may have to turn around if have a taxi delay).

A

No more than 60 FDP hours in 168 hours (rolling 7 days).

No more that 190 FDP hours in 672 hours (rolling 28 days).
