It’s an industry/system with inputs into the farm, processes which take place on the farm and outputs from the farm.
What are the classifications of types of farming
Specialization

What is arable farming
Arable farming is the gorwing of crops
What is Pastoral farming
The rearing of animals
What is mixed farming
The growing of crops and the rearing of animals
What is commercial farming
This is the growing of crops and rearing of animals for sale
What is Subsistence farming
When the sufficient food is provided for the farmer’s own family (the output may be the same or less than the input)
What is the difference between extensive and intensive farming?
Extensive farming is when the farm size is large in size compared to the amount of money spent on it or the number of people worker there while intensive farming is when the farm size is small compared to the amount of workers working there or the amount of money spent on it.
