FAN COIL Flashcards
What is a capacitor?
A capacitor is a two-terminal electrical device that can store energy in the form of an electric charge.
What are the fan speeds in the fan coil motor and wire colour code
Blue wire is neutral
OUT4 - Low speed Grey
OUT5 - Medium speed Brown
OUT6 - High speed black
OCOM4, 5, 6 is power that gives 4,5 and 6 power
Explain the magnetic the door sensor?
The door sensors consist of a magnet that is usually in the door and a electromagnet that is usually on top that works as a switch once power is added to the electromagnet. Once in contact with the magnet, the electromagnet will send a signal to the J controls that there is contact between them
How to bridge the sensors
IN1 to ICOM1 , 2
How many Volts does the AC uses?
110V
How many Volts the Actuator Valve with?
110V
What are the Actuator Valve Lable
OUT7 Brown wire, power
OCOM7, 8
OUT8 No power
Colour code for thermostat
Yellow - Power
Green - COM
Brown -Communications -
White - Communications +
Colour code thermostat to the J controls
YELLOW
GREEN
BROWN
WHITE
What colour is a main power in the J controls
Brown wire
What colour is a main power in the J controls
Brown wire
What if the COM on the thermostat starts blinking?
if the COM on the thermostat keeps blinking means something wrong with in settings, wire isn’t connected properly. It also means there isn’t any signal going to the Johnson control
What sensor is i4 ?
Main door sensor
What sensor is i5
Balcony door sensor
After putting in a new thermostat what else should you do?
Reset the breaker because the system needs time to process the new thermostat
