Who does AER help
- Active duty soldiers, single or married, and their dependents
- ARNG and USAR soldiers on active duty for more than 30 days and their dependents
- Soldiers retired from active duty for longevity or physical disability, and their dependents
- ARNG and USAR soldiers who retired at age 60, and their dependents
- Surviving spouses and orphans of soldiers who died while on active duty or after they retired
What can AER Do?
Help with emergency financial needs for:
- Food, rent or utilities
- Emergency transportation
- Funeral expenses
- Emergency medical/dental expenses
- Personal needs when pay is delayed or stolen
- Give undergraduate-level education scholarships, based primarily on financial needs, to children of soldiers.
What can AER not do?
- Help pay for nonessentials
- Finance ordinary leave or vacation
- Pay fines or legal expenses
- Help liquidate or consolidate debt
- Assist with house purchase
- Cover bad checks or pay credit card bills

FRP offers community education, counseling and support services on personal financial affairs geared toward building financial resiliency; to include financial readiness common military financial touchpoints. Classes on various financial topics are available upon request
New Parent Support Program (NPSP) (Part of ACS)
NPSP offers services to expectant parents and parents of newborns through three years of age. The New Parent Support Home Visitors can visit with you at home or
can schedule an office visit. Services are tailored to your Family’s needs and goals.

Family Advocacy Program (FAP) (Part of ACS) description
(FAP) builds healthy Families and sustains strong communities by providing comprehensive approaches to prevention, identification, and intervention of child and spouse abuse in military Families. Classes on Parenting, 5 Love Languages, Anger and Stress Management, Single Parent Support and others available upon request
