Family barn investigations only apply if what parties are involved?
Some is in or has been in an intimate relationship or family members
Who are the 7 people who can be involved in a family harm investigation in a relationship or a family?
Primary victim, person at risk, predominant aggressor, person posing risk, mutual participant and child or young person exposed to family harm
What does CYPEFH mean?
Child or young person exposed to family harm
Family harm investigations do not apply when the parties involved are?
Flatmates or if your in a close personal relationship eg not current or former partner/family members
What does coercive mean?
Relating to or using force or threats
If the family harm is not directly aimed at a CYP are they still involved?
Yes
What age would you class a child?
A person under 18
What does CPP stand for and what is it used for?
Child Protection Protocol- process that is followed when OT and police respond to actions that meet a certain threshold eg sexual abuse, serious wilful neglect and physical abuse
What is violence defined as?
Physical abuse, sexual abuse and physiological abuse
What is psychological abuse?
Threats, intimidation/harrassment, watching/stalking, damaging property, financial abuse,denying support
What does ROC mean and when do you complete one?
Report of Concern- a notification to OT where care and protection concerns are identified
What does ACES stand for?
Adverse childhood experiences
