5 types of family diversity:
Organisational - Roles people perform.
Cultural - Beliefs and values.
Class - Availability of resources, quality of housing, leisure opportunities, etc.
Life Course - How family structure changes through life.
Cohort - What is the norm, in terms of family life, for one generation, is not for the next.
