Extended families- Increase or decrease

A

classic EF= is decreasing as housing is too small to fit large families and also growing house expenses.
Modified EF= is increasing as the growth of technology making it easier for families to still stay in contact with each other even though they are geographically spread out

However both types of EF are important as they provide support both financially and emotionally.
