why is it important to have children
A
It is important to have children so they can be raised into the faith. The Church helps with this, for example through Sunday School and youth groups.
‘Bring [your children] up in the training and instruction of the Lord’ [Ephesians 6:4 NIV]
Parents start their children in the faith through baptism. Faith develops through Church and preparation for confirmation (which is a sacrament where a believer renews vows of faith).
Festivals like Christmas and Easter often emphasise family.
