State the advantages and disadvantages
of extended.
Advantage of Extended- more members can contribute financially
If not enough money is earned among adults present, the family may have financial problems.
Advantage of Extended- If adults work together they can all make sure children are well supervised
With more authority figures in the household, lines of authority can become blurred.
Difference between matrilineal and patrilineal.
Matrilineal Line of descent through the female line while patrilineal is a line of descent through the male line.
What is marriage?
A legally recognized relationship between adults that carries certain rights and obligations.
what is divorce?
The formal legal dissolution of a legally constituted marriage.
Define Legal Separation.
The legal procedure by which a married couple remains legally married while living apart.

The declaration by the law court that a marriage is null and void as if it never happened.

Increase in women’s rights, increased educational opportunities for women, increased number of women in the workplace

greater level of equality among men and women greater self-esteem, confidence, and independence among women, children more independent and self-reliant
