Q
Factor
A
Numbers you can multiply together to get another number.
For example, 2 and 3 are factors of 6 because 2 x 3 = 6
-2 and -3 are ALSO factors of 6 because multiplying two negative numbers makes a positive.
1 and the number itself will always be factors of a number. If there are no other factors beyond 1 and the number itself, the number is a prime number.
