  1. Simplifying language be using simpler vocabulary, e.g. saying “mix together” instead of combine, which is more abstract
  2. Be aware of complex questions, e..g “how”, “when” and “why” questions are Blank’s level 3 or 4 and require inferencing skills, may be challenging to answer
