Frontalis
muscle that’s located in the forehead and is responsible for raising the eyebrows and wrinkling the forehead
Corrugator Supercilli
a small, triangular muscle in the face that’s responsible for creating vertical wrinkles in the forehead and drawing the eyebrows down and together
Procerus
a pyramid-shaped muscle in the forehead that helps pull the eyebrows down and flare the nostrils
Orbicularis Oculi
a muscle that surrounds the eyes and helps close the eyelids, as well as contribute to facial expressions
Nasalis
the largest muscle in the nose and is responsible for compressing and widening the nostrils
Zygomaticus minor
a facial expression muscle that helps raise the upper lip and is used when smiling
Orbicularis oris
a complex muscle that surrounds the mouth and is responsible for lip movement and shape
Risorius
a narrow bundle of muscle fibers that helps create facial expressions, such as smiling, frowning, and smirking

a powerful muscle in the jaw that helps you chew, swallow, and speak:
Depressor Labii inferioris
a facial muscle that helps move the lower lip down and to the side.
Mentalis
a small, cone-shaped muscle in the chin and lower lip that raises and protrudes the lower lip, similar to when someone is pouting.
Platysma
a broad, thin muscle in the neck that covers most of the front and side of the neck
Temporalis
a fan-shaped muscle in the head that helps close the jaw and chew food:
Levator labii superioris
a facial muscle that helps move the upper lip and mouth, and is involved in facial expressions.
Zygomaticus Major
a facial muscle that is responsible for raising the corners of the mouth when smiling and laughing
