Q

Weaving

A

Weaving is a method of fabric production in which two distinct sets of yarns or interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. Woven clothes aren’t as stretchy as knitted clothes unless elastase is added. Plain weave is the simplest weave. The weft yarn passes over and under alternate wrap yarns, two rows forming the pattern. It is used mainly for fine fabrics - shirts, dresses ect.
