What is a Menu Based Interface?
An MBI is an interface which is a list of choices on screen, the choice made by the user will lead to further menus and there are back or home options on each page.
Why is MBI better than Guided User Interface
> Use of touch screen reduces damage
Easier to use
User may be computer illiterate
Define a Naturla Language Interface
A Natural Language Interface is something like a keyboard or microphone.
This type of interface allows the user to use human syntax.
The user might find it easier to use natural syntax easier so they can focus on the application.
Define Forms Interface
A Forms Interface allows the user to enter information. The input boxes forces the user to input information before moving on to the next page, to stop them from forgetting to insert necessary information.
The instructions for the user are presented to them.
Why do text files and streamed videos use different bit rates?
> Text files use small amounts of data, whereas Streamed Videos use large volumes of data
A video is watched in real time, therefore it might freeze or lag if internet connection is poor.
Video data is time sensitive
