What is the form of the poem?
First person narrative. Sounds personal and describes a turning point in the poet’s life. The use of blank verse makes it sound serious and important, and the use of regular rhythm makes it sound like natural speech

Mountain appears: darker and fearful
End: reflection
How is dramatic language used in the poem?
The initial glimpses of threatening language become more intense once the mountain appears. Speaker begins to understand the power of nature.
