- That they do not have their legs crossed
- They are sat up straight (not leaning)

Why do you need to consider the natural fall of the hair when cutting?
- The growth patterns may effect the hair cut
- Partings need to be established, otherwise the cut could be unbalanced if wrong

- How to blow dry hair
- Use of heated equipment

How should you look after your scissors once you have completed your service?
- Remove all hair cuttings
- Sterilise scissors with UV cabinet, autoclave, sprays/wipes
