What does a spiracle on sharks do?
Modified gill slits that open into the pharynx. Takes in water and ventilates the gills
What function does pelvic fins in sharks do?
They have claspers that assist in reproduction

Extensive network of pores that contain highly sensitive sensory allowign to detect currents, pressure changes, and prey nearby

Increase the lateral surface of the body during swimming

Special sensing organs. The ycan form a network of mucus filled pores
