Denotation
A way of speaking that is characteristic of a certain social group or the inhabitants of a certain geographical area (accents, sound of words)
Dialect
Form of fiction or nonfiction that teaches a specific lesson
Didactic
A character who acts as a contrast to another character (differences)
Foil
A type of writing that ridicules the shortcomings of people or institutions in an attempt to bring about a change
Satire
A style that portrays the inner(often chaotic) workings of a characters mind

Language spoken by the people who live in a particular place (word choice)
