Kevin is a 22 year old third year law student at metropolitan university. he plans to pursue a career in corporate law in his fathers law firm on completion of his studies. health and fitness are important for kevin. he goes to the gym three times a week, is a keen surfer and member of the university rugby team. nevertheless, each weekend when he goes out with his friends and binge drinks to the point of not remembering what he did the night before. he brushes off his friends and parents concerns, saying that its normal university life, and that hell cut it down when he finishes his studies. he also knows that the safe drinking limit for men is three standard drinks per day, but because he’s young, strong and can ‘hold his drink’ this doesn’t really apply to him. however while attending a ;healthy man clinic’ at the uni health centre; he discloses this to the practice nurse.
