Example: She turned down the marriage proposal because she was not sure about getting married.

Meaning: search for information in a book or database / buscar algo
Example: No information for history homework, I need an encyclopedia to look it up.

Meaning: to discover / descubrir
Example: She found out that they were having an affair.

Meaning: to leave a place / irse
Example: go away, I don’t want to see you.

Meaning: get into a sitting position / sentarse
Example: I’m tired of standing, I’m going to sit down.

Meaning: return or refund money to someone / devolver
