The desire to be liked, accepted and to have the approval of others.

Compliance only because an individual is likely to agree with the behaviours/attitudes of a group publicly but disagree privately.

The desire to be liked. Look tpo others on how to think and behave.
When does informational social influence usually occur?
In ambiguous situations.
What can informational social influence result in?
Internalisation of identification because the desire to be right would mean an individual agrees both privately and publicly with the majority opinion.
