Purchase order Processing (POP).
Deals with ordering stock.
- Place order with supplier, quantity, stock requested, supplier name, etc.
- Place items on “on order” status.
- Change status to “delivered”.
- Amend delivery quantity, for example if you only receive 200/300 ordered.
- Update stock and delivery records.
- Order report.

Customers.
Deals with financial transactions regarding customers.
- Invoice for goods and services sent to a company’s customers.
- Credit notes sent to customers for goods returned, pricing errors, etc.
- Money received from a company’s customers.
- Adjustment to the sales ledger: write off bad debts, mis-posting etc.
