The name of God was Yahweh or YHWH, meaning He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
What does God say the Hebrew woman shall eventually do, and why is this significant?
God says the Hebrew woman shall plunder Egypt.
What are the three signs Moses is to do to convince Pharaoh.
- A staff turned into a snake
- A hand turned leprous when in a cloak
- Water of the Nile turned into blood.
What is Moses afraid of?
Moses is afraid that the people will not listen to him.

What was the cause of each plague?
Pharaoh’s hardened heart/ he did not let the Hebrews go.
What were the two meanings of “hardened heart”? What does this tell us about God and Pharaoh.
The two meanings are Khazeq, and Kaved. They mean God is not turning Pharaoh away, but respecting his decision

They placed the blood on the lintel and doorpost. They placed the blood with the hyssop branch.
What was the name of the feast, and what was their reason for their celebration?
It was called the feast of unleavened bread, it represented their haste for making the bread, before they left Egypt.
How many men exited Egypt?
600,000 men
Explain the reason for the Passover, and what was being redeemed.
Every firstborn of all the males, firstborn of all the animals, and the Passover Lamb being killed is what was being redeemed. The Passover is a celebration of the release of the Israelites in Egypt.
List three connections between Jesus, and the Passover
