Presidential succession
The order in which the vice president of the US and other officers of the United government assume the powers and duties of the US presidency.
Electoral Vote
The choice is expressed collectively by the electoral college, which determines the winner of elections for president and vice president in the US.
Presidential Primary
The election held to nominate individual candidates to president.
National convention
The convection of a major political party
Swing voter
A person whose vote is regarded as decisive to the outcome of an election because it is not predictable which candidate or party they will vote for.
Executive order
Official documents through which the president of the US manages the operation of the federal government.
Direct popular election
Vote loyal to one’s political party candidate for president would naturally vote for that party’s list of proposed electors.

A 12-month accounting period that a businesses for final and tax reporting purposes
