What are the circumstances where an accountant is NOT obliged to report suspicions of money laundering?
A
When the information was obtained other than the course of the accountant’s business i.e a social gathering.
When the information came about in privileged circumstances. (information is seen which otherwise would not)
When there is a reasonable excuse for not reporting straightaway.
