Suppiles the omohyoid, sternohyoid, sternothyroid (SOS)
Formed by fibers from union of hypoglossal and C1 nerves (descending branch) unites with descending cervical (C2 and C3)
Superficial inguinal LN
Receive lymph from the anterior abdominal wall BELOW the umbilicus, gluteal region, lower parts of vagina and anus, external genitalia EXCEPT the glans (deep inguinal ln)
Drains into the external iliac nodes
**inferior group: receives all superficial lymph vesses lf LOWER LIMB, EXCEPT for those from the posterolateral part of calf (popliteal ln)
Median nerve
Flexor compartment of the forearm EXCEPT FCU and medial part of FDP
Gluteal muscles
Common origin: outer surface of ilium
Common insertion: greater trochanter of femur EXCEPT
-gluterus maximus (gluteal tuberosity, iliotibial tract
-quadratus femoris (quadrate tubercle)
