How do you write the cell reference for a cell range
First and last cell name with a colon between I.e. (A1:A8)
How to select a cell range
Click, hold and drag the mouse until all cells are selected
Three simple ways of moving cell content
1) Copy the cell 2) cutting and paste 3) drag and drop
What and where is the fill handle
Fill handle is another way to copy content of the cells…. it’s a small black square located in the bottom right corner of a cell when selected
How does flash fill work
It recognises a pattern in the information that is being entered and makes a suggestion
What is an excel workbook
Workbook is an excel file of worksheets
What is the difference between ‘Save’ and ‘SaveAs’
Save: saves the workbook as it is
SaveAs : saves a copy of the workbook in another location with another name if required
What does AutoRecover do and why?
It recovers workbooks that have been saved in the temporary folder. It does this because computers are known to crash. Excel does this every 10 mins or so.
