What does qualitive mean?
Descriptive data
What does quantitative mean?
Numerical data
What is accuracy?
The degree to which the experimental result agrees with the accepted value
What is precision?
The degree to which measurements agree with each other
What is an observation?
Objective; based on the 5 senses not an opinion
What is an inference?
Subjective; a guess about an observation
What is a hypothesis?
A testable prediction that attempts to write an answer
What is the atomic number?
Tells the number of protons in an element
What is an isotope?
Atoms of the same element with a different number of neutrons
What is the hyphen form?
The name of he element hyphen the mass number
What is the nuclear form?
The name of the element with the mass number in the top left
What is the mass number?
Tells the number of protons and neutrons in an element
What is an atomic mass?
Weighted average of all the different versions of an element
