What are the example materials?
Students: sundial, wind vane, rain gauge
Teacher: create worksheets with a space for students to fill in their observations of the weather or use fieldtrips

Topic: natural plants and trees
Plants grown by people in the community
Theme: Fauna
Topic: Wild animals, tame animals
Student pets, picture books, local farmers and visit a farm.

Ask a local builder or other expert to bring in some tools and talk about their work, go on a walk around the school to observe buildings and transportation systems

Sticks or other small objects can represent numbers of people, create worksheets with maps that students can color-code according to population density

Students, parents or community members could demonstrate traditional songs, costumes, games and instruments etc.

Ask students to bring in examples of traditional handicrafts, ask local experts to lead a session on a particular handicraft – students could do their own weaving/carving, etc.

Topic: Protection of the forest and natural resources, protection and improvement of water resources
Create worksheets on the water cycle or other environmental topics, do practical activities like building a school garden; in an art lesson use scrap materials to talk about recycling
