Movement skills
are actions that allow you to move your body from one place to another.
Locomotor movement
movement does not move the body from place to place as locomotor movement does.
non locomotor movement
involve the control of an equipment such as a ball, rachet or long-handed implement.
Object control skills
involve the control of an equipment such as a ball, rachet or long-handed implement. is defined as being able to maintain a stationary position throughout the movement.
Static Balance
is a locomotor skill characterised by a brief period where both feet are simultaneously off the ground.
sprint run
is the act of jumping upwards into the air. It can be an exercise for building both endurance and strength, and is also a standard test for measuring athletic performance.
Vertical Jump
is a manipulative skill that involves being able to absorb and control the force of an object with a part of the body, preferably the hands.
Catching

movement patterns
lowering movement where the hips drop down and back, while the knees bend, and the torso remains upright.
squat
movement where the hips move backward with minimal knee bending, allowing the torso to lean forward.
Hinge
stepping movement where one leg moves forward or backward while the other leg remains in place, requiring balance and stability.
lunge
A movement that involves pulling a weight or resistance toward the body
