Raster graphics pros/cons
Pros - wider and clearer array of colours

Cons - can become blurred and pixelated if enlarged too much

Vector graphics pros/cons
Pros - Small
Computer uses maths to make up the file if you enlarge, causing the image to be enlarged to as much as a person would want with no pixelation or blurriness.
Cons - Can only be used with simple graphics.
Cant be used with photos etc.
Lossy file compression.
Data is removed from the file.
Tradeoff - quality vs size
Lossless
Smaller file - replicate the original but in a smaller way
Used by vector graphics
Con - bigger than lossy
Typography
Type face or font family.
Each font has a specific weight, style and condensation and may also have a slant, or italicisation.
Alignment
Centred
Flush left
Justified
Flush right
Leading
Leading is the spacing between the lines of text, rule is to double text size, for example if text size is 12 leading size should be 24.
Format
Layout and typography of a document, layout includes the type of document, margins, spacing and paragraphing.
