the reader knows something that the character doesn’t

What is the difference between the atmosphere and the mood of the story?
the atmosphere is the general feeling of the story, where as the mood is the readers state of mind after finishing the story
what is the difference between the round and flat characters?
a round character is well described, and is revealed during the development of the story. a flat character is not well developed and represents a type rather than individual
what is a character that resists change?
a static character
