• eg george bush as governor=oversaw 1/3rd executions in usa at time whilst preventing medical advancements in using embryonic life (sancity of life-double standards)
• but difficulty of using multiple egs is when generalisation to whole faith=made
• ignored other egs like 19th cent churches established schools for poor, civil right activists like martin luther king who had leading role in challenging segregation
• so criticis use extreme egs whilst christianity could be seen as representing everyday behaviours that=overlooked sucb as charity work etc
