Grief: Things to keep in mind

A
  • steps are relational, not sequential;
  • Grieving and growing is messy because life is messy. It is not a neat procedure
  • We don’t “conquer a stage” and never return to it.
  • 3-dimensional as opposed to linear. Possible to reside in more than one “stage” at a time.
