Q

Outer coat proteins

A

The defining factor/difference between transport vesicles. COPII moves anterograde from ER to cis golgi, COPI moves retrograde from golgi to ER, and clathrin moves between the endosome and golgi from the plasma membrane

Q

Clathrin coat

A

Triskeleton with 3 large and 3 small polypeptide chains. The light chains bind to actin force for membrane budding/vesicle movement and are phosphorylated for regulation. Adaptor proteins bind the membrane bound proteins
