The Great Depression social, political and economical impact.
Economical- Tariffs in Australia. Primary and secondary industries relied on loans from Britain and the U.S. Chief source of income being in the export of primary products.
Social- 1932 unemployment rate had reached 30% of Australian men. Mean lost their sense of worth when they were unable to provide for their families. Increase in suicide rates,
Political- government had no longer the level of income from taxation revenue. No loans to support major projects such as public building. Low finances to provide security for poor citizens- welfare payments.
Women’s roles changing in the twenties
Women became Flappers.

What was the Great Depression
The fall of walls street in the U.S.
1929-1930’s.
Collapse in concrustion, agricultural and manufacturing industries, dramatic rise in unemployment and decline in exports.
What is the Treaty of Versailles
Agreement singed in 1919 by the allied powers and Germany to officially end World War One.
Britan, France and the U.S strong influence. Italy and Japan less influence. Germany had no impute.
What did the treaty of Versailles do and lead to?
Imposed harsh conditions on Germany and established the League of Nations.
This did not get peace of Europe.
World War Two problems due to terms of the treaty.
Germany and Japan were not happy about the terms of the treaty.

What is the league of nations
Organisation set up prevent the outbreak of wars,
Happened in Paris in April 1919
Define totalitarians

Collection of buildings where people were placed without trial because they were considered to be Dangerouse.

Extermination camps
Places to which Jews in World War Two were transported primarily to be killed in large numbers. Killed within 24 hours of arrival afte being in the concentration camps.
