A
  • Job was a righteous man, so why did he get cursed(deut.28 and lev.26)
  • God used suffering to stregthen fath, increase compassion for others suffering
  • God used struggles to test and mature our faith
  • The tests were so that he could prove to us that our faith is real and no trial would overcome it
  • Satan can’t test us more than God allows

Why do you think God didn’t tell Job about his conversatons with Satan?

A
  • When I get upset in a fight with my parents or brother I would get angry and wish that I had different family members that were nicer
  • I couldn’t understand why my parents or brother were being so mean
  • All of the fights resulted in me having a deeper understanding of the love my parents and brother have for me
  • All of their actions were out of love and they never felt hate for me while I was argueing
  • this is like Job in the middle of a test from God not understanding the struggles but later understands
