non-progressive movement/posture disorder secondary to static encephalopathy occurring in prenatal, perinatal, or post-natal period of development

Risk factors for CP
A
-pre-term low birth weight
-intrauterine growth restriction/infection
-cerebrovascular insults or brain injury during pregnancy & in early infancy
-genetic mutations
