Pros and cons of buying mannequins with permanent wigs and makeup
cons: would be that mannequins with makeup and wigs can be more expensive, require more care and could eventually go out of style
pros: wigs and makeup can immediately transform from style to style rapidly and complete the look
Describe some of the other “forms” of mannequins that available to use in vm?
Examples: women’s torso, shoulder and head forms, blouse forms, hand, leg, and shoe forms.

what is a prop?
an object used to establish and mood, theme, or anything that requires a visual orientation.
what is a found object?
items used as props that were refurbished or possibly pulled from junk piles or even items that were manufactured for different reasons.
What are the main sources for finding/acquiring props?
- in store prop shops/houses
- borrowed props from different departments in your store or others
- find props

What are the 5 principles of design? describe in detail
- Balance - has to do with visual stability and reconciliation of opposing forces. Its achieved either symmetrically or asymmetrically.
- Emphasis - uses contrast, color, shape or texture to draw attention to the intended element.
- Proportion - Attained when a desirable relationship is found between the elements of size, color, quantity, or degree.
- Rhythm - movement which is achieved when using repetition, gradation and alternation. The repetitions can be made subtly or more boldly.
- Harmony -the root principle that summarizes all other principles of design. Achieves overall unity with all the elements for a consistent composition.
