What are the functions of cusps?
Improve chewing, grasping and crushing food, and preserve the periodontal ligament
Where can you find an oblique ridge?
On the maxillary molars of both primary and permanent teeth
What is the union of the triangular ridges called?
The transverse ridge

A long depression or valley in the surface of the tooth between the ridges and cusps
